Cardiff Council schools serve a balanced 2 course meal and a cold drink for £2.50 per child per day.
Our menu operates on a three week cycle to ensure that children receive a varied diet, and there is a vegetarian choice available each day. A link to Cardiff Council's menu can be found below.

Whitchurch Primary School uses ParentPay, a secure online payment system for school dinners.
Access is via the ParentPay website (www.parentpay.com), which is already used in all Cardiff Secondary Schools, and is currently being phased into all Cardiff Primary Schools.
Each child is provided with individual activation codes (username and password) for the website, and parents need to activate their online account in order to make payments and pre-order each child's meals.
If your already have a ParentPay account for an older child at this or another school, you will be able to log into your existing account and add your child, using the username and password on your activation letter.
Please ensure that you pre-order your child/children's meals online via the ParentPay website. The system will allow you to select up to the evening before the meal is served, as long as you have credit on the account. As the school kitchen cooks to order, pupils whose parents have not pre-ordered may not receive the meal of their choice.
Parents whose child is entitled to free school meals also need to activate their account and order the meals in advance.
If you are unable to pay via ParentPay, please contact the school office to request the option of paying via PayPoint (at stores displaying the PayPoint logo).
Please activate your ParentPay account even if your child does not currently take school meals, as we will be using the system for the payment of school trips and other activities in the near future.
Free School Meals:
The provision of free school meals is confined to families in receipt of Income Support, Income Related Employment Support Allowance, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit, Child Tax Credit with an income less than £16,190 (Any Families in receipt of Working Tax Credit do not qualify).
You must apply if you think that your child or children might qualify for free school meals. Application forms can be obtained from the school office, or by contacting Cardiff County Council:
Primary School Free Breakfast Initiative:
Breakfast has long been recognised as the most important meal of the day and evidence suggests that children who have the opportunity to eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast prior to the start of the school day are more likely to achieve their full potential.
The Welsh Assembly Government Primary School Free Breakfast Initiative gives children in primary schools in Wales the opportunity to have a free, healthy breakfast in school each day. For further information about our Breakfast Club please contact our administration team:
