This is a new pupil group that has been launched this year with the aim to promote and encourage pupils to

read. The children will be involved in school reading events such as the Book Fair, sponsored read and relax

and read event. These pupils will be responsible for organising buddy systems within the school for younger

pupils to read with older pupils. They will also check reading corners in classrooms and school libraries to

ensure they are being maintained and contain a variety of options for pupils to choose from.
