Croeso to Year 2! 

Here you’ll find weekly updates about the exciting learning taking place in our classes, along with photos capturing all the fun and discovery along the way. 

The Year 2 team includes Miss Blacker & Mr Stephens, Miss Murray, and Mr Flynn, supported by our fantastic Learning Support Assistants, Mrs Land, Mrs Seary, Miss Hall, Mrs Adams and Mrs Gallaccio.

A few helpful reminders: 

• Year 2 have now PE on Thursdays, and children can come to school wearing their P.E kit on those days. 

• Reading books can be changed every Monday and Thursday, so please make sure your child brings theirs in. 

This year promises to be full of curiosity and creativity! In the Autumn Term, we’ll be exploring transport past and present and even building our own train. During the Spring Term, we’ll look at contrasting communities and celebrate our differences through art and storytelling. Finally, in the Summer Term, we’ll dive into forces and science with plenty of hands-on investigations.

We can’t wait to share all the fantastic things happening in Year 2!
