Rugby at Whitchurch Primary

Touch Rugby for Year 4 Pupils.

Mr. Thompson is running a Touch Rugby Club for children in Year 4 on Monday between 3.30pm - 4.15pm.

Year 5 participated in Whitchurch High School's Tag Rugby Festival in June 2018.

Year 5 at a tag rugby festival in Cardiff Arms Park, where they posed with the European Challenge Cup, won by the Cardiff Blues in Bilbao.

A very successful tournament in March: Whitchurch Primary became the Urdd 7s champions, beating Rhiwbeina by six tries to none; and our Girls' team won the Urdd Tag Rugby championship, winning the final by five tries to four.

Our Year 6 players won every match at Llanedeyrn Primary Rugby Festival, with everyone scoring at least one try. Da iawn!

Congratulations to the Year 5 Rugby players, who reached the semi-final stage of a tag rugby competition, playing against several Year 6 teams.

Little Stars Rugby for Years 1 and 2 runs on Wednesday afternoons between 3.15pm and 4.30pm. Cost: £15.00 for five sessions.

Our rugby team played in the Urdd 7's and came second in their group! Da iawn bawb!
